It's that time again, when we all get plunged into the dark around 5pm as Daylight Savings Time ends on November 4th at 2 a.m.  The good news is that we gain an extra hour of sleep since we all must set our clocks back one hour before bed on Saturday night.

This event always brings up the old controversy of getting rid of Daylight Savings Time.  People seem to feel strongly about this issue.  Personally, I'd rather have the daylight later in the day than in the morning since when 5pm rolls around and it's dark outside, I feel like I'm ready for bed.  I hate that!  There's also the issue of changing a ridiculous amount of clocks in my house.  Including my watches, I have 11 clocks to change and I always seem to forget some of them.  Needless to say, I'm a fan of Daylight Savings Time all year round.  No changing clocks and more daylight at the end of the day when I'm lagging in energy.
