According to WebMD.com, when we change the time by an hour twice per year, it affects the body's 24-hour natural cycle or circadian rhythm. That means our body's internal clock gets messed up a bit and has to adjust.

It's that time again, when we all get plunged into the dark around 5pm as Daylight Savings Time ends on November 4th at 2 a.m.  The good news is that we gain an extra hour of sleep since we all must set our clocks back one hour before bed on Saturday night.
