There are two events coming to Oneonta NY the week of June 9th to help those dealing with Alzheimer's disease The Leatherstocking Caregiver's Conference is on June 12th at the Oneonta Holiday Inn and The Leatherstocking Region Walk to End Alzheimer's is coming up June 15th at the Plains at Parish Homestead in Oneonta, NY.

Leatherstocking Caregiver's Conference is designed to pass along information to help those caring for a person with Alzheimer's.  It runs from 9am to 3:30pm at the Oneonta Holiday Inn.  The cost is $20 and includes lunch.  To register or for more information, call Program Manager Ann Thayer at (607) 547-1650 or e-mail her at ann.thayer@alz.org.  You can also register by clicking here.

For those who wish to put an end to Alzheimer's and provide support services for those suffering from it, there's the Leatherstocking Walk to End Alzheimer's on June 15th, starting at 9am at the Plains at Parish Homestead in Oneonta.  This is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
