It's an ambitious fundraising goal for this year's Walk to End Alzheimer’s in the Leatherstocking Region: $40,000 and it's almost halfway there at a little over $18,000 currently raised.  This year's Oneonta event is coming up on Saturday, September 28 at a new location - Neahwa Park in Oneonta. Registration will be at 2:00 p.m. at the park’s large pavilion.

A ceremony will kick things off at 3:00 p.m. with the walk immediately following. Walks are held in more than 600 communities nationwide and 5 locations in our region. It is open to people of all ages and abilities who wish to find a cure for Alzheimer's and support caregivers and families coping with it.
