It's funny, it's free, and it's close by in Franklin, NY.  It's author and humorist Jim Mullen, performing at Franklin Stage Company this Father's Day Weekend.  Jim is a very funny, quirky guy and I highly recommend seeing his show as a fun Father's Day event.  Here are the particulars:

Popular area raconteur and nationally syndicated humorist Jim Mullen will kick off the season with two benefit performances adapted from his new book “HOW TO LOSE MONEY IN YOUR SPARE TIME – AT HOME!”.  Performances are on Saturday June 16th at 8pm and on Sunday June 17th at 2pm, and reservations are recommended.  Admission is free but donations are gratefully accepted.  Franklin Stage Company is located in Chapel Hall at 25 Institute Street in Franklin, opposite Franklin Central School.
