The weather looks great for the weekend but if you were thinking of heading to Gilbert Lake State Park with the kids for swimming, think again.  A ban on swimming has been put into place until further notice due to blue-green algae, which can be toxic for people, with enough exposure.

Park officials have closed the lake for swimming because of this potential health risk and daily monitoring and testing is being conducted in the hopes of re-opening the lake before the season ends.
