Fire Strikes A Laurens Home

A fire Saturday at a Laurens home on Craft Street was put out in short order thanks to the quick response of fire fighters. According to Otsego County Fire Wire, Laurens fire fighters were assisted by Mount Vision Fire and West Laurens Fire with mutual aid from County Coordinators, Milford Fire, Morris Fire, Milford Fire, Gilbertsville Fire, and Hartwick Fire companies.  There was no one at home when the fire broke out and it was called in by a neighbor.
