Do You Celebrate Cinco de Mayo? [Poll]
Happy "Cinco de Mayo"! The 5th of May always marks this Mexican related celebration which is observed in Mexico and here in the U.S. Of all the people I talk to, who observe this holiday, it's all about Mexican food and drink for them but there's a lot more to Cindo de Mayo than that. On May 5th in 1862, :the underdog Mexican army in the state of Puebla, Mexico surprised French forces by defeating them in the Battle of Puebla. Now don't confuse this event with Mexico's Independence Day which is a different event celebrated on September 1st.
