According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, a Deposit man with an arrest warrant was located, arrested and taken into custody without incident on February 3rd. Police had been looking for him for over a month.

Robert J. Kinzer, 31 years old of Deposit, was involved in a domestic incident in the Village of Deposit on January 1 and fled the scene before law enforcement arrived; a warrant was issued for his arrest. On January 8, Kinzer was seen in Deposit and an attempt at an arrest was made but again, he fled on foot, evading police.

Kinzer has been charged with:
-Robbery 1st Degree ​​A Class B felony
-Burglary 1st Degree​​​​A Class B felony
-Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree​​A Class D felony
-Aggravated Family Offense​​​A Class E felony
-Grand Larceny 4th Degree​A Class E felony
-Criminal Mischief 4th Degree​​A Class A misdemeanor
-Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree​​A Class A misdemeanor
-Menacing 2nd Degree​​A Class A misdemeanor
-Criminal Obstruction Breathing​​A Class A misdemeanor
-Resisting Arrest​​A Class A misdemeanor
-Obstructing Government Administration 2nd Degree​A Class A misdemeanor

Robert taken to the Broome County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility for Central Arraignment before a magistrate. He was released on his own recognizance.
