WATCH: New York State Police Say ‘May The Fourth Be With You’ In Hilarious New Video
May the fourth is considered "Stars Wars" Day by fans of Luke Skywalker, Hans Solo, Wookie, and of course Princess Leia. It unofficially began on May 4th, 1979 when was elected Britain's first female Prime Minister.
Her party took out an ad that read "May the Fourth be with you, Maggie, Congratulations." The rest was history and everyone has gotten in the act, even if they aren't necessarily Star Wars fans.
I don't know if the New York State Police are fans of Star Wars but I do know this. They have a wonderful sense of humor and they show it with this awesome video.
New York State Police "May The 4th Be You" Video
The New York State Police is one of the heroes that take to the streets of the Empire State every day to protect us. Well done men and women in blue and thank you for your service.
My brother-in-law is part of the Broome County Sheriff's Office and is the BIGGEST STAR WARS FAN that I know. May 4th gives him a great reason to wear his Jedi Knight or Wookie costume.
He also plans on giving his wife a Princess Leia outfit for Mother's Day again this year because last year's outfit mysteriously disappeared. He hopes to surprise her and I think that he'll get it...Just not the surprise that he wants.
TBS celebrates May 4th with its tradition of showing Star Wars movies all day (think Christmas Story on Christmas Eve) beginning at 2:15 a.m. Enjoy your day and May The 4th Be With You.
Not a Star Wars fan? Then mess with one and tell them to "live long and prosper."
