Cuomo Signs Legislation Help Veterans Find Work

Governor Andrew Cuomo signed legislation yesterday that will continue the state’s efforts to assist returning service men and women in finding employment.

The new law requires the establishment of an employment portal on the division of veteran’s affairs website that will include links to appropriate federal and state government programs that help veterans find jobs.

The DVA will consult with community members who help veterans find employment to ensure the portal successfully serves veterans.
