Battle of the Belts: New Event at SADD Strides For Safety

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the Oneonta SADD Strides For Safety 5K Run/Walk raised the bar with a new event for student teams of four: "The Battle of the Belts" event which is a timed race involving a vehicle and seat belts.  The goal is to see which team can race around the car and fasten and unfasten their seat belts the quickest.

Teams should be comprised of four students in a school club.  The top three teams will win prize money for their club: $200 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd, and $75 for 3rd place.

"The Battle of the Belts" will start at 11am on April 27th, right outside the Oneonta High School gym, as part of the SADD Strides for Safety 5K Run/Walk event, which includes a free health fair from 11:30am to 2pm.  To register your team, CLICK HERE.
