The Arc Otsego’s 15th Annual Voice! juried art exhibition of work by artists with intellectual and other developmental disabilities from across New York State opens with a free public reception on Friday, July 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Martin-Mullen Art Gallery, located in the Fine Arts Building of SUNY Oneonta. During the reception, which includes refreshments and art for sale, over $1,500 in prize money will be awarded, and visitors will have the opportunity to cast a vote for the winner of the People’s Choice Award.

Presented by The Arc Otsego, Voice! demonstrates the power of art to transcend
disability and stereotypes to reveal common ground and celebrate unique abilities. The
eclectic exhibition features individual and collaborative works that address a variety of
subjects expressed through drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media.
Voice! 15 is made possible with the generous support of the Future For Oneonta
Foundation Grant, Gilroy, Kernan and Gilroy Inc., One Group, Inc., Otsego County

part by the NYSARC Trust Services Recreation Grant.

The hours for Voice! are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The exhibit
closes August 2 at noon.
