Retired Lawyer Named Bassett Board Chairman

A retired Washington, D.C. law firm chairman has been named as chairman of the Bassett Healthcare Network Board of Directors. According to Bassett Healthcare Network, Douglas Hastings is chair emeritus of the national law firm Epstein Becker Green which specializes in health care law. Hastings replaces Ralph Meyer as Chairman but Meyer will continue to serve on the board. Board members Jane Forbes Clark of Cooperstown, Kevin Moore of Weston, Conn., and John Bullis of Little Falls were each re-elected to three year terms.
