Why Singles Should Wear Costumes on Halloween

• It feels safer to be more daring or even outrageous with a costume. Safer to take social risks and talk to people you don't know.  "Hey, wanna watch me lick a tequila shot off your belly button?"

• Costumes help you get out of your comfort zone. Anything that helps you stretch beyond your comfort zone is a good thing when you are single. The truth is, if you don't get out of your comfort zone, you won't meet too many other singles.  "Hi, my name is Elvira, what's yours?"

• Costumes don't have to be expensive. Don't be scared off about needing the perfect costume. The simplest thing can work so don't pressure yourself.  "Wow, it's amazing what you've done with old ripped clothes and a bottle of catsup!"
