According to a new survey by technology company Janrain, 38 percent of online Americans would rather do household chores like cleaning a toilet than have to create another username and password. The survey also found:

- 58 percent of adults are using five or more unique online passwords
- 30 percent have more than 10 passwords
- 8 percent of those surveyed have more than 20 individual passwords associated with their various online accounts.

Good grief!  Even if you're one of those using the least amount of unique passwords, it's still way more than we should have to remember.  I happen to be in the majority with about 5 passwords and I always have trouble remembering what goes to what account.  It's ridiculous!  Can our lives be any more complicated?  I'm starting to miss the days before the World Wide Web.  Are you?  Life seemed much more simple then.  Now, I'm really starting to sound like my mother!
