I honestly don't remember seeing this particular Mountain Dew commercial during the first half of the Super Bowl a few weeks back, but apparently there were a million reasons to watch it.  In case you did miss it, Mountain Dew's Super Bowl spot was used to promote their newest flavor Major Melon.

The commercial featured WWE Superstar John Cena telling viewers to "count and tweet the exact number of Mountain Dew Major Melon bottles and you can win a million dollars!"

My guess is that while this commercial was playing, I was so busy destroying chicken wings or checking on my dead SB Square #'s that I missed my shot at a cool million.

But an upstate New York man did not miss the opportunity, and not only did he venture a guess, but he nailed the exact number on his first Tweet which seems like a statistical impossibility.

According to News 10 ABC, the million dollar man is Rochester's Ryan DePaul who claims he was counting bottles in his head while the ad was playing.  Things got a little complicated at the end of the commercial when a bunch of Major Melons flew out of the trunk of the car Cena was driving.

DePaul told the news station, "I’m watching and I’m counting as we are watching on TV, and then at one point, at the end of the commercial, a trunk opens and all these bottles fly out of it, so I’m thinking, ‘Okay, add 50 or so to it."

Check out the ad below and see how you would have done:
