The Unadilla Valley Central School’s school-based health center gets a new member of the team. "Sully" is a three-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and he will serve as a therapy dog to help kids dealing with traumatic experiences or kids who are agitated, anxious or depressed. Experts say numerous studies show the clear benefits of animal-facilitated therapy, which include stress reduction and a calming presence that can lower blood pressure. Sully joined the school last month.
