Welcome to winter in Central New York. From record-breaking temperatures in the 70s one week to a Winter Storm Watch with up to 12 inches of snow the next.
There is a storm predicted for Chenango and Otsego County that is being watched by the National Weather Service in Binghamton and at this point in time, it's been dubbed by the NWS as a "winter storm watch" starting late Wednesday night.
This winter has been a wild ride of extremes with temperatures ranging from the 60's down to minus teens with storms mixed in between and it's time to brace yourself for another one.
