How many of you are breathing a giant sigh of relief this morning?  I know I am.  I woke up several times last night, listening for wind and rain, and hearing very little to concern me.  At the same time I would note that the power was still on and couldn't help but think "the winds just must be delayed, it's coming".

For many of us, the above flooding scenario from last September is still way too fresh.  Now, were' bracing for the "storm of the century" with the effects of hurricane Sandy on it's way to our area.  I don't know about you but I'm actually taking this storm very seriously in my house by having prepared for a storm way beyond what I've ever done in the past.
