Strawberry Picking Destinations in Central New York

Today, May 20th is "Pick Strawberries Day".  That's a bit tough in Central New York because strawberries aren't ready yet but the season will be here before you know it.  If you're a strawberry fan like I am and love to go the U Pick'em root, then I did some digging on where to go.  Here are the closest ones to Oneonta that I could find:

Now that I'm in a total mood for something with strawberries, I'll share with you my favorite strawberry treats: strawberry shortcake (of course!), chocolate covered strawberries, strawberry pancakes, strawberry/rhubarb pie, and strawberries go great in salads.  Anyone hungry?
