Seward To Commemorate Second Chance Month
According to a media advisory from Senator James Seward's office, today Seward will present a special New York State Senate proclamation commemorating Second Chance Month, an opportunity to increase public awareness about the challenges faced by individuals who have paid their debt to society and programs available to help with reintegration into the community. The presentation is taking place at the Otsego County Correctional Facility in Cooperstown. Senator Seward will be joined by Jail Ministry of Otsego County Executive Director Ameen Aswad, Otsego County Sheriff Richard Devlin Jr., and Otsego County Director of Community Services Susan Matt.
