Opportunities for Otsego Hosting Children’s Center Open House

Opportunities for Otsego will hold an open house from 9 a.m. until noon on Friday, June 29.

The event will showcase OFO's new Children's Center on the second floor of the Otsego County Family Courthouse at 197 Main St., Cooperstown.

The Children's Center provides daycare for children aged 6 weeks-12 years whose caregivers have business in Family Court. It is meant to keep children away from potentially complicated discussions in the courtroom and give parents the focus to address their own court requirements.

Since June 2011, the Children's Center has served 254 children and offered 369 referrals.
