Norwich Residents Protest Police Brutality
Yesterday, demonstrators from Norwich, NY gathered yesterday afternoon outside the Chenango County Courthouse to protest police brutality and racial injustice following the death of George Floyd, a black Minneapolis man who was killed by a white police officer. Organizer Amanda Mills issued a statement saying they support the Black Lives Matter movement and hope to shed light on the injustices that have taken place against our fellow humans. There were no reports of any arrests by the Norwich Police Department.
