According to the news release from the New York State Police, both of the victims were taken to Chenango Memorial Hospital and then later transferred to Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center in Johnson City.  Authorities say both patients sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Troopers say, meanwhile, there were three other children under the age of 17 were also in the home at the time of the dispute and knife-play.

Sawyer, apparently, didn’t escape the incident unscathed. The State Police say he was also transported to Chenango Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained prior to the Trooper’s arrival.  Sawyer was released after being treated at the Norwich health care facility and taken for processing and arraignment.

Sawyer was sent to the Chenango County Jail with bail set at $250,000.

He’s been ordered to appear in court again next week.
