New Otego Business Opens: Swedish Baked Goods On The Way!

We have seen the signs and wondered. Well, I went in and checked it out and you are going to enjoy this, Otego!

Trollbok Farms has just opened a new business in Otego. It is a store, market and eatery. It is located at the I-88 entrance to Otego (107 Main Street) in the former Big M grocery market.

The store is undergoing a "soft opening" right now, with plans for a more formal opening closer to Labor Day. I met Rowan, who is operating the front of the store. He told me that the owner, Sebastian Grimm and his family, are excited to be bringing local foods, local produce, local artisan crafts, and much more to Otego and the surrounding area. They are planning on bringing a full line of specialty Swedish home-baked goods to the store as well. Sebastian's family is direct from Sweden and we ALL look forward to trying these tasty pastries.

So stop in when you see the "Open Sign" blinking in the window and welcome Sebastian, Rowan, and the entire staff to our community. We wish them well. And good for you, Otego. That intersection now features a great barbecue place, a new store and eatery, and the Dollar General. It is so nice to see activity on that end of Otego again!
