My Favorite Christmas Gifts This Year

Every year at Christmas time, I wait in anticipation for the wonderful handmade gifts my two children will bestow on me Christmas morning.  Usually, they get so excited about their gifts for me that they want me to open the carefully wrapped gifts right after they make them but of course I always insist on waiting for December 25th to come.

Nothing warms my heart more than seeing what creative gifts they craft for me.  This year I received a knitted cel phone case from my daughter (as pictured above) and my son made me a beaded bracelet.

So bring on the less-than-perfect home made gift because that truly is a gift from the heart and I know that all too soon, those home made Christmas gifts from my kids will disappear as they grow up.
