Lawn Tractor Driver Gets Hit By Car in Town of Morris

According to New York State Police, last evening, just before 7:00 p.m., New York State Police responded to an accident on County Road 18 in the Town of Morris involving a lawn tractor and car. The male driver of the lawn tractor was operating his tractor on the side of the road but did not observe a nearby car. The lawn tractor driver ended up turning left in front of the car, whose driver couldn't stop in time and collided with the lawn tractor. The car's driver was not injured, however, the lawn tractor driver was taken to Chenango Memorial Hospital with injuries to his head and face.

No names have been released by police at this time and the accident remains under investigation.
