UHS Orthopedics on Newton Ave. in Norwich unveiled its new imaging equipment and expanded orthopedic clinical space last week. A ceremony was held at the site to honor several community organizations for helping with the project and to let them see the new technology that keeps Chenango Memorial Hospital in tune with the highest standards in health care.

Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich was presented with a gift of more than $255,000 Friday from Chobani’s charitable arm, the Sheperd’s Gift foundation.

At 2:30 p.m. Chobani founder, president and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya will present Chenango Memorial Hospital with more than $255,000 to help purchase a new state of the art X-ray machine.
