There's a local gem of a museum close by that's been around since 2008 and chances are, you had no idea it existed.  I'm referring to the Franklin Railroad and Community Museum in Franklin, NY.  This museum featuring an 1886 "Warwick" train car #30, which used to be a private business car for wealthy travelers and many Franklin artifacts are displayed there as well.

John Campbell, Director and Trustee of the Franklin Railroad Museum talks with me below about a great exhibit that is opening this Sunday and Memorial Day Monday from 1pm to 5pm, both days.

You'll find The Franklin Railroad & Community Museum at 574 Main Street in Franklin and it is typically open to the public on the last Sunday of each month from 1pm to 5pm or by appointment by calling (607) 829-5890.  Admission is always free.
