If I could book a flight and go on vacation, I would do it in a heartbeat. I think I speak for almost everyone when I say I need a vacation. I just want to fly somewhere to get away for a while. We have been cooped up too long. Now the Centers For Disease Control (CDC) may make it even easier.

As New Yorkers, we have to follow certain protocols when flying out of state. Currently, we have to have a negative COVID-19 test three days before coming into the state and then once again we must test negative after three days of entering New York. Plus there was a time where we had to quarantine for fourteen days after we returned. There were too many rules and not enough time for me to travel anywhere. But that could change soon.

According to Spectrum News, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that they will not recommend a COVID-19 test to fly within the United States. They say that they will closely monitor how to contain the virus from spreading on airplanes. Just because the CDC is recommending no tests doesn't mean that they are encouraging people to travel. In fact, they recommend not to travel on flights if possible because of the pandemic.

Honestly, I am not sure I care what's recommended or required. When we get the green light to fly away again, I will comply with whatever they tell me I need to do. I can't wait to go on vacation again.
