Canadian Pacific Holiday Train Brings Wonder And Delight to Oneonta, NY November 27 [Photos]
If you've ever seen the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train pull into Gas Avenue in Oneonta, NY, then you know the thrill and delight of seeing the train cars all lit up and decorated for the holidays. As if that wasn't enough, one of the cars opens up to reveal a sound stage when fantastic Canadian music artists perform each year, all in the name of stamping out hunger in every community they visit.
People are invited to come out tomorrow at about 1:15pm and bring non-perishable food donations to drop into one of the many blue barrels set up by Opportunities For Otsego and then enjoy a fantastic music oriented show, including a visit from Santa. This event always brings out a great crowd because it serves a great cause and it's just plain fun for all who attend. I've been to it several times with my family and enjoy it more and more every year.
The schedule of the train's arrival to Oneonta is Wednesday, November 27th at 1:15pm to Gas Avenue (bordering Neahwa Park). So start gathering those food donations now (monetary donations also gratefully accepted) and come out to enjoy pure holiday joy with the arrival of the Holiday Train to Oneonta.
