22nd District Congressman Anthony Brindisi recently met with area church leaders to discuss funding available for security protection through the federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program. Brindisi says the these grants provide funding to protect non-profit organizations that are at high risk for a terrorist attack. $90 million is made available for grants this year which is three times as much as in 2019. The grant programs is provided through the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
