Leslie Ann Loves to Shop Local and Shop Delicious at the Oneonta Farmer’s Market [Audio]

You might be surprised to find out that one of my favorite new haunts every Saturday is the Oneonta Farmer's Market in the Kim Muller Plaza in Downtown Oneonta.  I have long believed in shopping locally and eating healthy, delicious, fresh produce and meats, but until this Summer, I haven't been able to find a way to make it a part of my Summer shopping lifestyle.  What changed?  I realized that if I didn't make it part of my regular Saturday schedule, it was only going to be a once in a great while visit.  That wasn't good enough for me.  So now, every Saturday, unless I'm out of town, you'll find me at the market, shopping for mouth-watering, fresh veggies, meats, and tons more.  My kids are especially fond of the scrumptious baked goods.  Go figure.

Plus, there's always entertainment to enjoy - just an added bonus.  This Saturday the theme is grilling, so Dana LaCroix, the Market's Manager is grilling up some amazing chorizo sausage that you can sample.  It will be seasoned with fresh cilantro and accompanied by a medley of roasted vegetables.  Anyone hungry yet?  I AM!
