You know the old adage, "Keep it simple stupid".  Not exactly a nice way of communicating a great message but it gets the job done.  Today is  "Keep it simple day".  I don't know who makes these things up but does it really matter?  The point is the message and it's a great one in this very complicated world that we live in.  It seems that it's harder and harder to keep it simple so here's some help on how to do just that.

1. Make a decision and stick to to. Is it yes or no? Ditch the maybe.

2. Less is more. Replace “Could I do more?” with “Would I like to do more?”.

3. Make boundaries. Set time limits — when the timer dings, stop and move on.

4. Brainstorm many different ways to do you want to. Mix and match. Divide and blend. Then, choose one way. Never mind the other ways.

5. Unitask. No multi-tasking!

6. Aim for imperfection.

7. Choose to start. Avoidance feeds complexity.

8. Value quality over quantity.

9. Set a goal. Divide the goal in half. Aim for early success to fuel momentum. Slow and steady wins the race.

10. Trust your intuition. Resist second guessing.
