Here we go again. This time film production moves to Albany for another series. After months of filming in downtown Troy for "The Gilded Age", a new HBO series will be filming in downtown Albany. It is called "The White House Plumbers" part of a five-part Watergate series starring Woody Harrelson.

With film production comes many road closures and traffic tie-ups. Tuesday and Wednesday in downtown Albany will be a cluster of detours and re-routing according to the TimesUnion.com. Academy Park near the state Capitol will be a place used for part of the filming as well as backdrops and some buildings on State Street and parts of Broadway. The city of Albany's bus station and the parking lots surrounding it will also be closed.

Albany Police are reporting that there will be on and off road closures on the main streets in downtown Albany. This includes parts of Washington Avenue near Academy Park. State Street and Broadway will also be closed from the early Tuesday morning until late Wednesday night.

The HBO limited series being filmed is called "The White House Plumbers" with a star-studded cast. Woody Harrelson plays E.Howard Hunt while Justin Theroux will play G. Gordon Liddy and Kathleen Turner will also be part of the cast.

Keep your eyes out for these stars. Harrelson was spotted in Newburgh back in May according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. Maybe we will see them not only in downtown Albany but in and around the Capital Region. Seems there are a ton of stars coming to the area and the Saratoga Race Course isn't even open yet.
