Fasten your seat belts...literally.  Old Man Winter is not through with us yet as a Winter Storm Warning issued from the National Weather Service is in effect for the Central NY region from 10am this morning to 8am tomorrow morning.

The warning is calling for a mixture of rain, snow and sleet this morning and later this afternoon.  Snow accumulation for today is around 2 inches.  The bulk of the snow will come tonight, with snow and sleet accumulation ranging between 6 to 12 inches possible.

In addition, blowing and drifting snow will develop tonight and into Thursday morning with hazardous wind chills.    Temperatures may drop quickly this afternoon causing flash freezing on area roads.

The biggest concerns about this storm is the quick development of icy roads as temperatures change this afternoon, along with heavy and drifting snow at times, limiting driving visibility this afternoon and tonight.
