West Kortright Fair Coming Aug 31, 2014

The West Kortright Fair, in East Meredith, NY, is this Sunday, August 31, 2014 from noon to 6pm, rain or shine!  The annual fair just keeps getting better and better!  Join the fun at a Labor Day party extraordinaire.

The West Kortright Centre’s 9th annual family-friendly summer’s-end celebration of the region’s “agri-cultural” bounty includes a full afternoon of foot-stompin’ music from folk musicians Mike + Ruthy, Blues Maneuver band, and Tumbleweed Highway.  You can graze all day on scrumptious foods made from fresh local products including grass-fed beef burgers from Flaca Vaca Farm, pulled pork and sausages from The Stamford Smokehouse (along with a vegan sausage), organic hot dogs, and lots of vegetable salads.

Pick up fabulous baked goods and enter the pie eating contest, bid on artwork, shop a huge silent auction and rummage sale of antiques, goods, and services to benefit The WKC.  Enjoy the beer-tasting booth, 21 and over.   Keep the kids entertained with lots of kid-friendly games, balloons & antics by Chee Chee the Clown and other activities.  Try out the Family Fun Obstacle Course and get a Family Photo Portrait.  Plus shop for one-of-a-kind items from dozens of local vendors.  The fair will be held rain or shine.
