Walmart Raises Minimum Age For Firearms Sales
Walmart says it will no longer sell firearms and ammunition to people younger than 21. In a statement, Walmart says the decision came in light of the mass shooting at a Parkland, Florida high school. Walmart stopped selling assault rifles and other semi-automatic weapons in 2015 and doesn’t sell large-capacity ammunition magazines or bump stocks, the accessory attached to a semi-automatic gun that makes it easier to fire rounds faster. Dick’s Sporting Goods also announced that it stopped selling assault-style rifles.
