Oneonta Water Main Replacement Underway

The City of Oneonta Department of Public Service announced that work is underway on a water main replacement on East Street from Bugbee Road to the City/Town line. This project is expected to be substantially complete within two weeks, with final asphalt restoration to be done in April. While the work is occurring, traffic on both East St. and Bugbee Rd. will be maintained with appropriate work zone signage and the use of flaggers. Officials say there may be temporary water service interruptions and those will be communicated directly to affected customers.
