New York State Police were kept busy on Easter Sunday thanks to a Unadilla man who they ended up arresting twice for two separate domestic dispute incidents. The first incident took place shortly after 1:30 p.m. at a residence on Clifton Street where 38-year-old Dennis P. Lafferty of Unadilla was reportedly threatening to physically harm one of people living at that residence-a person who held an order of protection from Lafferty. He was arrested at that time and charged with the felony of Criminal Contempt, arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

Police report that about an hour after that first arraignment, Lafferty was found to have returned to the same residence on Clifton Street, and was discovered on the back porch of the house when officers arrived. Following another arrest and arraignment with a Delaware County Court judge, Lafferty was remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond.
