Two Otsego County Teens Charged With Burglary and Grand Larceny
Two juveniles, ages 14 and 17 were arrested for stealing a vehicle on Grove Street in the town of Morris. On February New York State Police received a report from the parents of the 14 year old that the teen had gone missing overnight. The teen had last been seen with a 17 year old, who was also missing.
A third teen was reported missing, a 15 year old from Lafayette, associated with the two other teens. The first two, stole a vehicle in the town of Morris to pick up the Lafayette teen. Police located the three at Taco Bell in the City of Cortland and were taken into custody. The 15-year-old was returned home. The 17-year-old was arraigned in Otsego County Youth Part and released to Otsego County Department of Social Services. The 14-year-old was issued a family court appearance ticket to Otsego County Family Court. Both juveniles have been charged on felony burglary charges and Grand Larceny in the third degree.
