Colgate Listed as One of the Top Party Schools in America
With amateur boozehounds, junkies and derelicts of all shapes and sizes now flocking to makeshift dormitory brothels on the campuses of some of the finest facilities of higher education across the United States, we thought the time was right to unleash the list of the 2012 top party schools in America.
The list was comprised of a pool of colleges that were considered “best-fit” for students interested in attending a “big-time party school”, according to CollegeView, as well as data from the Department of Education on the number of on-campus arrests and per student disciplinary actions for drugs and alcohol in 2010.
Of course, bonus points were granted to those campuses that found themselves on Princeton Review’s most recent rating for top party schools and top beer-drinking campuses.
With that being said, it appears as if the students at West Virginia University are the rowdiest bunch of all, topping out this year’s list with about 1,500 alcohol-related disciplinary actions and over 200 drug related arrests.
The collegiate booze induced frenzy continues as Pennsylvania State University and the University of Colorado apparently spend more time inside of a bottle than inside their books – coming in at this year’s second and third spot, respectively.
Other colleges labeled as America’s rowdiest were Colgate University ranking in at number eight, the University of Florida coming in at number nine and rounding out the list was the wild-eyed Hoosiers from Indiana University.
