Three Arrested in Chenango County For Felony Crack Cocaine Possession

An investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine in Chenango County has resulted in the arrest of three individuals.

On January 8th, 2014 the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, along with the City of Norwich Police Department, executed a search warrant on Tarik Patterson, 32, of Utica, Mary Franklin, 41, of Norwich, and Rachel O’Neill, 36, of Norwich. The report  states that the search turned up six bags of crack cocaine weighing approximately seven grams, drug paraphernalia, and an unspecified amount of cash.

The three individuals were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a felony, and were arraigned in the Town of Norwich Court. They were remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on cash bail and are scheduled to reappear in the Town of Norwich Court at a later date.
