Yahoo! Sports recently reported on a Google Trends tweet of a graphic containing the most misspelled word for each state in the country. Well, I can think of so many more, just looking at how people write things on social media.

I'm not perfect when it comes to correct spelling, but I like to think I do quite well. Although there are some words that trip me up, like 'Foreigner.' Words like that with an 'I' and 'E' together tend to confuse me. I have to give credit to all the word correct tools to get my spelling right. Once in a great while, you may notice I messed up the spelling of a word in one of my articles, but I really try hard to make sure all is correct.

What is the most misspelled word in New York State?

I'm wondering how it's misspelled. Maybe substituting the 'E' with an 'I'?

How About Pennsylvania?

Again, the 'E' and the 'I'combinaion trips people up, including me.

The Most Misspelled Word In The United States Overall?

I imagine the 'X' or the 'C' is left out of this word.

And while we're on the subject of misspellings, I have a few that drive me crazy. Misspelling 'You're' with 'Your', 'Their' with 'There', and 'Picture' with 'Pitcher.' What words have you noticed that regularly get misspelled?
