Power went off to over 1,700 New York State Electric and Gas customers in parts of Broome and Chenango Counties in sub-zero temperatures overnight.

The Oneonta "warming station" is a collaborative effort between Catholic Charities and the Oneonta Main Street Baptist Church. Those in need can come to the warming shelter any night of the week from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. for shelter and warmth.
