I work with a guy named John Hayen at the radio station.  He works in sales up on the seventh floor.  All I ever hear is about is the exterior of his house at Christmas.  I guess it is kind of an Oneonta tradition.  So I took a ride by 10 Tilley Avenue in the West End after I got done with my Oldies Show last night...

Do you have a particular "off the beaten trail" holiday tradition that you participate in each year?  My family does.

Everyone has an opinion about when the Holiday season should begin.  It seems that it starts earlier and earlier each year with retailers putting out holiday decor even before Halloween.  In my house, we have always had the rule of not lighting up our outdoor Christmas lights until the day after Thanksgiving.  What do you think?
