Do you have a particular "off the beaten trail" holiday tradition that you participate in each year?  My family does.  Every year on Christmas Eve, after attending the early evening  church service, we pack the kids in the car and drive around Oneonta, looking for houses decorated with lights.  Of course, the one house that our kids always want to see is John Hayen's house, our sports guru at ZOZ.  He claims to have more lights per square inch than any other house in Oneonta and from what I've seen, he's probably right.

One more Christmas tradition that we do, is open one small gift on Christmas Eve.  My parents always let me, my brother and sister do that as kids and I always loved it so I thought we should do that with my own family.  Needless to say, my kids love it too.

Share the holiday traditions you most love with us on facebook.
