SUNY Oneonta President Barbara Jean Morris Resigns

SUNY Oneonta President Barbara Jean Morris submitted her resignation last week to in her words “pursue other opportunities”. Morris became president in July 2018 succeeding Nancy Kleniewski who retired. Before coming to SUNY Oneonta, Morris was provost and vice president for academic affairs at Fort Lewis College, in Durango, Colorado. SUNY Purchase Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Dennis Craig has been appointed interim president while a search for Morris’ successor proceeds.
