Bassett Healthcare Network is partnering with New York State to staff the COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic at SUNY Oneonta which opens tomorrow. Bassett will deploy more than 30 clinical professionals per day, seven days a week to administer 1000 vaccines per day.

Dr. Tommy Ibrahim, President & CEO of Bassett Healthcare Network, says “This is a critical step forward for our region in the fight against COVID-19.”

New York State and the National Guard are supplementing daily staffing for administrative tasks like registration and patient navigation. Local county health departments will also support efforts with organization assistance and patient transportation.

According to a Bassett Healthcare Network release, registration will become available starting today, March 17. You can get information on New York State’s vaccine eligibility criteria at covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov. Please be aware that according to Governor Cuomo's Office, as of today there are more groups of people eligible for the vaccine: public-facing government and public workers, not-for-profit workers who provide public-facing services to New Yorkers in need, and essential in-person building service workers. New Yorkers who qualify in these categories can make an appointment through the Am I Eligible Tool or through the NYS COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline at 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829).

Here's how to sign up for your SUNY Oneonta COVID vaccine:
